Alyssa: Yesterday, when the cookies came out of the oven, I liked them, but usually I just don't like cookies.

Carrie: Oh, are you not a cookie person? What kinds of things do you like?

Alyssa: Cow tongue, prime rib, pears, pineapples, um...cow tongue, and plums.

Carrie: Do you want to rent "Australia" tonight?

Brian: That sounds a little ambitious to me. New Zealand would be more in my budget.

Papa: Ethan sure loves to sing.

Grandma Roses: Well, think about it. Carrie has always been a good singer. Alyssa's a good singer. It makes perfect sense that he's a good singer, too.

Papa: Alyssa's not just a singer - she's the whole production.
