Today for Phonics Alyssa had to sort words into different categories. One column had a bunch more words than the others, so she wrote "1st! Won! Yaa!" underneath that comulmn and "0th" under the other columns. While she was reading them to me, she said, "See? This one's first, and here's zeroth, zeroth, and zeroth!"

Ethan: Mom! Guess a number between...seven!

Carrie: Um, okay. Sixty? (Sixty has been Ethan's favorite number for a while.)

Ethan: No.

Carrie: Sixteen?

Ethan: Yes! Good job!

Carrie: Okay, I'm thinking of a number between one and ten. What is it?

Ethan: Um...Green!

At the library, Ethan and Marcus were sitting in the children's area, looking through the books they wanted

Carrie: Come on you guys, let's hurry and check out those books.

Ethan: We are checking them out, Mom.

Alyssa: Can we get back to the lesson now, Daddy? Louis had a different name back in Heaven. He was Satan. Satan was actually named-

Carrie: Lucifer

Alyssa: Lucifer, and he wanted to - it was a war of talking and forcing - force everyone to do things. And if we chose Heavenly and Father's and Jesus' plan we would be here on earth...

Very early this morning, Ethan came and crawled in bed with Brian and Carrie, and then got put back in his own bed once he was asleep.

Carrie: Hey Ethan, do you remember getting into bed with me and Dad?

Ethan: Uh-huh. It did happen yester-night...and it was today, too.
